Election Results 2024: HAM's Jitan Ram Manjhi wins Bihar's Gaya seat, leaves for NDA meeting

After a five-decade-long political career, former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi became an MP. Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) founder Manjhi won from Gaya seat in his fourth attempt. The first election result in Bihar was of Gaya seat (Gaya Lok Sabha Seat Result). In this way, with Manjhi's victory, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) also opened its account in Bihar. HAM Party founder and patron Manjhi defeated RJD candidate and former minister Kumar Sarvjeet by more than one lakh votes. This is the first time that HAM has got an MP representative. The victory was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Manjhi's government residence in Patna. Leaders distributed sweets and also burst firecrackers.
