Delhi Election Result LIVE :BJP Issues Major Statement on Assembly Poll Trends

The initial trends in the Delhi Assembly elections indicate a significant lead for the BJP, with the party ahead on 42 seats, while the AAP trails with 27. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia maintain a narrow lead in their respective constituencies, whereas Atishi is trailing in Kalkaji. Meanwhile, Congress is yet to open its account. As counting progresses, tight contests are emerging in several seats, with a margin of fewer than 1,000 votes in at least 12 constituencies. Kejriwal faces stiff competition, and a potential AAP defeat could put him under immense pressure. BJP leaders credit the party’s success to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governance, highlighting that even Muslim-majority areas like Mustafabad and Okhla have shown a swing towards the party. With middle-class voters shifting towards the BJP and AAP struggling to maintain its stronghold, the final results are awaited to determine the political landscape of Delhi.
