Eid Ul-Fitr: Festival of love, peace and harmony being celebrated across the country

Eid Ul-Fitr celebrations began in the country on Saturday with offering of Namaz and exchange of sweets and hugs. The festival has come as a ray of hope and peace in the hearts of millions of people.

Eid Ul-Fitr or Eid marks the end of the holy month of Ramzan when Muslims all around the world fast for a month. It is a blend of harmony amongst different religion where people come together to celebrate this day with full zest.

Different places have their own own tradition of celebrating this much awaited festival. Orthodox Muslims or not, everyone offers their prayers (Namaz) at the mosque and even a sight is nothing less than a spectacle.

People hug their differences out and enjoy a feast together. Children and youngsters eagerly wait for their ‘Eidi’ which is a gift from the elders on this holy occasion.
