NEET Result Row: Police May Conduct Narco Test on Accused Get Arrested in Paper Leak Case

In the NEET-UG examination, action is underway following allegations of malpractice. Bihar Police's Economic Offences Unit (EOU) has intensified its efforts after revelations of Jharkhand connections in the paper leak case. EOU has arrested six suspects from Devghar, who are currently being interrogated. According to sources, during questioning, the suspects either contradict each other's statements or frequently change their own. Consequently, police may seek court permission for narco tests and brain mapping to ascertain the truth.

The NEET-UG examination, a crucial medical entrance test, has been marred by allegations of malpractice. Bihar Police's Economic Offences Unit (EOU) has ramped up its actions following revelations of links to Jharkhand in the paper leak case. EOU has arrested six suspects from Devghar and is currently interrogating them. Sources indicate that during interrogation, the suspects are either giving conflicting statements or changing their statements frequently. Therefore, the police may approach the court to obtain permission for narco tests and brain mapping to further investigate the matter.
