Differentiation between 'good' terrorism, 'bad' terrorism bigger threat: PM Modi at Davos
Prime Minister Narendra Modi raised the issue of terrorism at the World Economic Forum (WEF), calling it a big threat and "even a bigger threat if one draws the distinction as 'good' terrorism and 'bad' terrorism."
Delivering a keynote address at the plenary session of the annual WEF meeting in Davos, the Prime Minister said, "Terrorism is dangerous. Worse is when people say there is a difference between 'good' and 'bad' terror. It is painful to see some youngsters getting radicalised."
Prime Minister's comments on terrorism have come amidst reports that Pakistan won't allow United Nations Security Council's (UNSC) sanctions monitoring team to have a direct access to UN-designated terrorist Hafiz Saeed.
Earlier, the Prime Minister got a standing ovation as he arrived at the venue.
