BookMyShow Scam: What is the Coldplay Ticket Scam? A Major Truth Uncovered!

A complaint has been filed against the ticket booking app BookMyShow for fraud related to the live tickets for Coldplay and Dilluminati Concerts. In this case, the Mumbai Police had summoned BookMyShow's CEO and co-founder, Ashish Hemrajani, on September 27; however, he did not appear before the investigating officers during the first summons. He has now been summoned again to provide his statement. According to the second summons sent on Sunday, he is required to give his statement today.

Recently, a significant scam involving BookMyShow and the sale of Coldplay tickets has come to light, causing widespread concern among customers. Reports indicate that the platform charged exorbitant 'convenience fees,' leading to millions of rupees in earnings at the expense of consumers, which has sparked outrage.

The police have initiated an investigation as some tickets were reportedly priced several times higher than their market value. Customers are alleging that they were deceived in the ticketing process. While BookMyShow officials have yet to provide a clear response to the controversy, the seriousness of the situation raises significant questions about the company’s reputation. This incident has highlighted the need for transparency in the online ticketing industry.
