Breaking: SC directs CVC to complete probe against Alok Verma within 2 weeks

Supreme Court directs CVC to complete the probe against ousted CBI Director Alok Verma within two weeks, Retired SC Judge AK Patnaik will monitor the probe. Interim CBI Director Nageshwar Rao asked by SC to provide details of decisions taken on October 23.
CJI Ranjan Gogoi states, "CVC will carry on probe in 10 days under the supervision of a judge of this court. M Nahgeshwar Rao shall perform only routine task. Change of investigating officer by CBI will be furnished in sealed cover on 12 of November before SC."
