Jimny Mileage Review | Auto Live

In a recent mileage test of the Maruti Suzuki Jimny, the popular four-by-four SUV, the vehicle was driven 293.1 km under various conditions. Equipped with a 1.5-liter petrol engine that produces 103 bhp and 134 Nm of torque, the Jimny offers a choice between a five-speed manual and a four-speed torque converter automatic transmission. While Maruti Suzuki claims a certified mileage of 16 km/l, the real-world test yielded an average of 10.5 km/l. Despite the average performance, the manual variant's mileage was deemed acceptable for a four-by-four vehicle, though future evaluations of the automatic variant and driving efficiency tips could offer additional insights.
