2019 LS Polls: Full coverage from 7 states as they go on poll

Voting in 51 seats spread across seven states across north and east India has begun today. Rae Bareli and Amethi seats in Uttar Pradesh are among the most watched contests in the fifth phase today. Over 8.75 crore voters will decide the fate of a total of 674 candidates in the fifth phase which is comparatively the smallest among the staggered seven-phase Lok Sabha polls in terms of the number of seats. The seven-phase Lok Sabha elections started on April 11 and would conclude on May 19. Counting of votes will take place on May 23.
