Sending a strong message to China for its activities along the LAC, India has banned 59 apps with Chinese links for engaging in activities which are "prejudicial to sovereignty and integrity" of the country. Besides popular short-video app TikTok, the banned applications include SHAREit, Helo, WeChat, UC Browser and Xiaomi's Mi Community, among others.
