Even though the country is in lockdown and appeals have been made for people to stay home, permission can be obtained to travel for important needs. Yet the police in different parts of the country have been caught harassing people. Mumbai- based Bhairavlal Lohar was travelling to Rajasthan to perform his mother’s last rites. Though he carried a valid pass issued by the Maharashtra government when he reached the Gujarat border, the police did not refrain from using violence. Jitendra Dikshit reports on such heart-rending incidences.
