Among the population are foreign families who have made the Kalga village their home after having fallen in love with its beauty. The hosts stay at Rajajis' homestay "The Forest View Homestay" just to be closer to the beautiful mountains and they learn about the rich handicrafts and small businesses run by the villagers.
