The coronavirus outbreak is one of the worst problems faced by the world in recent times. Daily news about the coronavirus vaccine is increasing the hopes of people around the world who see it as the only way out of the pandemic. During this time, we are receiving positive news about the vaccine from two countries. London’s Oxford University and China’s Cansino Biologics have claimed that they have completed phase 2 of the vaccine trials. Adrian Hill Director of Jenner Institute, Oxford University has said, “After testing over 1000 people in the second stage of the trial, we have found that the vaccine is safe and effective. We have seen a good immune response from the patients.” If all goes well, then Oxford University will be able to produce 10 lakh doses by September. Hill has said that they will consider a success if 2 million doses can be produced. We want other vaccine manufacturers to join so that workload is distributed.
