Jodhpur: Onion and garlic sold to Jodhpur jail inmates for Rs 1,000 per kg | Sansani

The Jodhpur Central jail is again in news for its paid facilities to inmates as the consumable goods including edible oil, onions and garlic are being sold at exorbitantly high prices. A video has surfaced from the premises, where an inmate could be seen explaining how everything is available inside Jodhpur jail but at a premium price. According to him, one can get vegetable oil for Rs 500 per litre, while onion and garlic are being sold at Rs 1000 per kg. However, Jodhpur jail administration has denied the allegations and has said that such videos are made when they tighten the noose on inmates to force them to adhere to the jail rules.
