Sai Kiran Reddy, Army Jawan From Telangana Went Missing In Punjab

New Delhi: B Sai Kiran Reddy, an Army jawan from Telangana went missing near Bhatinda in Punjab while he was en route to report for his duty at Faridkot on December 7.
Sai Kiran hails from Pothireddypalli village in Telangana's Siddipet district. He made a visit to his home for a 20-day leave on November 16, reported the Times of India. In a complaint lodged at Cheryal Police Station on December 10, Sai Kiran's father Patel Reddy stated that his son left home on December 5 and at 8 PM Sai called him from Hyderabad International Airport but failed to lift his call on December 6 afternoon and December 7 morning.

While the tension was building up at Sai's home, his father got a call from Army Captain at Faridkot, who informed Patel Reddy that Sai didn't turn up to the job, reports Times of India.
When the Army personnel verified the CCTV footage from Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi, it was clear that Sai left the airport on December 6 evening.
After much scrutiny of CCTV footage, On Sunday Army personnel informed Sai's family that he was last seen travelling with another jawan from Delhi to Bhatinda, according to the report in ToI. Two cases were filed at Cheryal Police Station and Indira Gandhi International Airport, Terminal II in New Delhi.
Now Punjab police are searching for Sai Kiran while Cheryal police would transfer the FIR to Indira Gandhi International Airport Police Station.
