YouTube Outage: After Microsoft, Google's Video Streamer Appears To Be Down. Here's How The Tech Giant Has Responded

YouTube Down: YouTube has stopped working for several users across the country, flagged by reports from New Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.

YouTube Down: After Microsoft's services went down across the world following a cybersecurity update from CrowdStrike, it now appears that Google's video streamer YouTube is down across India. As per Downdetector, reports of YouTube outages have been flagged from major cities, including the likes of New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. Team YouTube has said that it is looking into the matter. As per outage tracker Downdetector, users in Australia, the UK, and the US are also reporting cases of YouTube outage.

It appears that YouTube and YouTube Studio, the creators' suite for the platform, are both down at the same time. 

If we go by Downdetector, reports of YouTube outages started coming in at around 1:41 pm IST. With a peak of 136 cases, the tracker was showing over 100 user flags at the time of writing. 

Apart from the aforementioned cities, reports of outages are also coming in from Hyderabad, Nagpur, and Pune. 

How Did YouTube React?

On X (formerly Twitter), Team YouTube responded to a tweet on the outage, saying that it is checking out the issue.

Users Vent Frustration On X

In what has become a sort of tradition of late, users took to X to vent their frustrations. While some shared memes, some enquired if YouTube and YouTube Studio were actually down.
