Vivo X Fold 5 is now official in India, marking a bold step into the premium foldable segment. It follows multiple teasers and succeeds last year’s X Fold3 Pro. Vivo promises that this new model is slimmer, lighter and offers top-tier photography, all while keeping performance and battery strength on par with the best.

Vivo X Fold 5 Price In India

The X Fold 5 is priced at Rs 1,49,999 for the single 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage variant.

It is available for pre-order from July 14, with general sale beginning July 30. Buyers can also enjoy an introductory Rs 15,000 discount via select bank offers, dropping the effective price to under Rs 1.35 lakh.

The foldable features a 6.53‑inch cover AMOLED display and an 8.03‑inch inner foldable AMOLED screen, both supporting HDR10+, 120 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 4,500 nits. They are TÜV Rheinland certified, ensuring eye comfort despite high brightness levels.

Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB UFS 4.1 storage, the X Fold 5 promises flagship-level speed. The device is backed by a 6,000 mAh dual‑cell battery, offering 80 W wired and 40 W wireless fast charging, plus reverse wireless charging.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the triple 50 MP Zeiss‑tuned rear camera setup featuring Sony IMX921 (main), IMX882 telephoto with 3× optical and 100× HyperZoom, and Samsung JN1 ultra-wide. Dual 20 MP selfie cameras on inner and outer displays round things out.
