New Delhi: PUBG: New State has surpassed more than 45 million downloads worldwide and its parent firm, South Korea's Krafton Inc on Thursday released the first-ever major update since its launch. The update to PUBG: New State is available to download for both iOS and Android users and it adds Survivor Pass Vol. 2 and also allows players to unlock a range of new in-game rewards.
"Available now, this Survivor Pass is based on the in-game character Bell, who is part of the Dream Runners Faction. Players will be able to complete a variety of "story missions" to earn all of Bella's costumes," PUBG: New State parent Krafton, said in a statement.
The Survivor Pass is based on the in-game character Bella - a part of the Dream Runners Faction.
"In addition, players can upgrade to a Premium Pass to earn additional vehicles skins and characters costumes as well as earn back 1,500 NC upon reaching Level 48 of the pass," the company added.
With this new update, players are able to obtain the L85A3, a new assault rifle with low recoil. While its fire rate is lower than others in the game, the L85A3 is said to offer the highest damage output of all the game's assault rifles that uses 5.56m ammo, making it a great choice to engage enemies at mid-to-long ranges.
Earlier in November, there were reports that Krafton was mulling to give PUBG: New State its own music and a web series. The music will be used for the game's promotional campaigns across India. Krafton will call the music "Bad Boy x Bad Girl", and has collaborated with Indian rapper Badshah and playback singer Nikita Gandhi for the same. Another song, together with "Bad Boy x Bad Girl", will serve as the game's anthem. For this, Krafton has collaborated with rapper Raftaar, the reports said.
