Paris Olympics 2024: Google Doodle has been celebrating the many sporting competitions being held at the Olympics this year. On Monday, July 29, Google came up with a cute Doodle that is as Parisian as it gets. When you think of Paris (or most European cities with a river cutting through the middle, for that matter), the first thing that might pop in your head are ornate windows adorned with plants, and perhaps a cat cosily slumbering on the windowsills. Well, Google has managed to bring out that vibe beautifully in its latest creation.

The gymnastics competitions at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris are underway, featuring three distinct categories: artistic gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, and trampolining.
Gymnastics At Paris Games 2024: Locations
The Bercy Arena is hosting the artistic gymnastics events from July 27 to August 5, as well as the trampoline event on August 2. Rhythmic gymnastics will be held at the Porte de La Chapelle Arena from August 8 to August 10.

Gymnastics At Paris Games 2024: Participating Nations
A total of 54 nations are competing, including the United States, China, Mexico, and host nation France. Notably, India will not be participating in gymnastics this year.
Gymnastics At Paris Games 2024: Qualification
The qualification process for these Olympics has been streamlined compared to the previous games. In the artistic team event, each team can now include up to five gymnasts, unlike the Tokyo 2020 format that allowed four team members and two individual competitors.
The top three teams from the 2022 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Liverpool earned automatic Olympic berths, with additional quota spots distributed at the 2023 World Championships in Antwerp, Belgium.
The 2024 World Cup series also offers gymnasts the chance to secure places in individual apparatus events.
