CMF Phone 2 Pro Could Be Launched At THIS Price: All You Need To Know

In typical CMF fashion, design remains central to the Phone 2 Pro, and the teaser image hints at a triple-camera setup, with a distinct circular layout.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro is gearing up for its official debut in India later this month, and what’s catching everyone’s attention is its likely price tag. Nothing’s budget-friendly sub-brand might just be pushing the boundaries again — this time, with a smartphone expected to launch under Rs 22,000.

The London-based tech firm confirmed in a press release that the CMF Phone 2 Pro will launch in India on April 28 at 6:30 PM IST. Alongside the phone, the brand is also introducing the CMF Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Plus, expanding its audio portfolio for the Indian market.

Premium Features, Aggressive Pricing?

Early leaks suggest that Nothing is planning to offer some compelling hardware at a price point that undercuts most rivals. If the under-Rs 22,000 price holds true, buyers could get their hands on a 6.77-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, and up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM paired with 256GB UFS 2.2 storage.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro is also expected to run on the latest Android 15-based Nothing OS 3.1, and might feature a 5000mAh battery supported by 50W fast charging. The device could be rated IP64 for dust and water resistance and may include Nothing’s Essential Key for added customisation.

Camera Setup Hints at Triple Lens System

In typical CMF fashion, design remains central to the product, and the teaser image hints at a triple-camera setup, with a distinct circular layout. Although unconfirmed, leaks point to a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 2x zoom. A 32MP front camera is also expected to make it selfie-friendly.

Since this is tagged as a ‘Pro’ model, the telephoto addition may be a way to differentiate it from its predecessor. The original CMF Phone 1 debuted at Rs 14,999, making the possible Rs 22,000 price point for the Phone 2 Pro a noticeable jump — but one that could be justified by the upgrades in display, performance, and camera hardware.

CMF's Second Act — And It's Looking Bold

This marks the second smartphone under the CMF by Nothing lineup, a sub-brand aimed at blending aesthetics with affordability. The company’s signature design elements — like customisable hardware and vibrant colourways — are expected to return with this release.

While much of the information remains unofficial, the launch is just around the corner. Until then, these leaks offer a glimpse of what may be one of the most aggressively priced phones in its segment.

With budget phones now aiming for flagship-like specs, the CMF Phone 2 Pro might be Nothing’s boldest move yet.
