Memes Flood Twitter As WhatsApp Down In India, Other Countries

#WhatsAppDown is trending on Twitter with users taking to the microblogging platform to share their frustrations and hilarious memes.

Hilarious memes have taken the Internet by storm after Whatsapp stopped working on the mobile app and web. Users in India are unable to send or receive messages on any WhatsApp platform. App users are not able to call their contacts as well. At least 3,000 users reported issued with WhatsApp since 12 pm and it has affected users across the globe.

#WhatsAppDown also already trending on Twitter with users taking to the microblogging platform to share their frustrations and hilarious memes.

Check out some of the funniest messages on the micro-blogging site Twitter. Some of the memes described the situation with a funny quotes based on the hit movie Hera Pheri. 

ABP Live could confirm that on the mobile app, messages are left undelivered and calls aren't connecting. On the Web version, some users are getting logged out of the platform, with an error message popup saying, "Make sure your computer has an active Internet connection".

As per Downdetector's reported problems map, the WhatsApp outage appears to affect users in cities such as Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai.
