LinkedIn Premium To Bring AI-Powered Features Including Customised Recommendations On CVs & Cover Letters

LinkedIn Premium users will be able to upload resumes and get instant feedback with personalised suggestions tailored to specific job postings and help them make their applications stand out.

LinkedIn announced recently that AI-powered features are coming to the platform to help professionals who are seeking new opportunities. But, nothing comes for free, right? Well, the same case is with LinkedIn too. These AI-powered features will be arriving for LinkedIn Premium users only.  One of these new features will enable users to hunt jobs on the platform by entering a natural language prompt.

The Chief Product Officer of LinkedIn, Tomer Cohen, in the blog post said that a user might type “find me a remote marketing job in Detroit that pays at least $110,000.” If the search results come out accurate then this approach could prove to be a highly effective way to discover job opportunities.

LinkedIn is also introducing a feature which will enhance your resumes and cover letters. Users will be able to upload resumes and receive instant feedback with personalised suggestions which will be tailored to specific job postings and will help them in making their applications stand out to hiring managers. Furthermore, LinkedIn will also offer recommendations for personalised cover letters, and to streamline the job application process and save valuable time.

LinkedIn Expanding Learning Resources

The platform is also enhancing its learning resources to help professionals adapt to the changing job market. According to a recent blog post, LinkedIn now adds about 60 new courses each week, including many focused on AI. These offerings include free month-long courses on topics like AI Literacy and advanced deep learning skills, aimed at keeping users relevant and competitive.

These additions complement other Premium-only AI features that LinkedIn started testing late last year, such as the ability to summarize posts from a user's LinkedIn feed.

Moreover, LinkedIn is exploring AI personas that users can interact with to gain insights on various business topics. These personas, trained by experts, provide personalized responses based on the user's unique needs. Some of the featured experts include Alicia Reece, Anil Gupta, Dr. Gemma Leigh Roberts, and Lisa Gates.
