Reliance Jio has introduced its latest pocket-friendly offering — the JioBharat V2 phone — aimed at providing widespread access to 4G Internet at an exceptionally low cost. The device is now available for purchase across India, with live sales commencing today on several platforms, including Amazon and Jio.com. The feature phone was one of the many highlights of the company's 46th Annual General Meeting held on Monday. 

JioBharat V2 Price In India, Availability 

Manufactured by Karbonn, the JioBharat V2 price is set at Rs 999. The phone comes in two colour options — Ash Blue and Solo Black.

As mentioned earlier, starting 12pm today, JioBharat V2 is available to purchase on Jio.com and other e-commerce platforms including Amazon. 

JioBharat V2 Specifications

JioBharat V2 sports a compact 1.77-inch TFT display and includes a standard 3.5mm headphone jack for audio connectivity. The device boasts a 0.3MP camera complete with an LED flash, providing basic photography capabilities. It packs a 1,000mAh battery, ensuring prolonged usage without frequent recharging. 

To cater to the diverse linguistic landscape of India, the phone supports up to 23 different languages, ensuring ease of use and accessibility for a wide range of users.

With expandable storage options via an external microSD card, users can augment their storage capacity by up to 128GB. 

As per the company, JioBharat phones will also support UPI payments with JioPay and support JioCinema and JioSaavn.

Jio Internet Plans

Jio aims to augment the value proposition with cost-effective Internet plans. The initial recharge plan, priced at Rs 123 for a 28-day duration, includes unlimited voice calls and a generous data allocation of 14GB. Users are also granted access to Jio apps, enabling seamless entertainment experiences such as movie streaming and video content consumption directly on the device. For those seeking longer-term connectivity solutions, Jio offers a yearly internet plan for only Rs 1,234, providing unlimited calling benefits along with an ample data quota of 168GB.
