Want 'Unlimited' 5G Data At Rs 601? This Telco Is Offering An Upgrade. But There's A Catch

The Rs 610 upgrade voucher could be beneficial for those who don't mind splurging on their Internet usage.

Reliance Jio is kicking off 2025 with an interesting deal for its prepaid users, offering a year of "unlimited" 5G data at just Rs 601. There's a catch: this special upgrade voucher is tailored for those on Jio's Rs 299 plan and higher, delivering an affordable way to enjoy uninterrupted high-speed internet.

Jio Rs 601 5G Offer Details

Users subscribed to the Rs 299 prepaid plan, which typically provides 1.5 GB of daily data, can now enhance their plan with the Rs 601 voucher to unlock unlimited 5G access for a full year.

Even customers not currently on 5G can take advantage of this offer, making it a compelling choice for anyone seeking budget-friendly connectivity.

How To Avail The Deal

The Rs 601 voucher is available on the MyJio app and Jio’s official website. Customers can easily purchase and activate the voucher digitally.

Additionally, the voucher can be gifted to friends or family members who are eligible under the Rs 299 plan or higher.

Jio’s latest offering comes amid competitive pricing in the telecom sector. For instance, Airtel’s Rs 398 prepaid plan offers its own perks, including a free subscription to Disney+ Hotstar for 28 days, targeting similar customer needs.

With the Rs 601 voucher, Jio is lowering the entry barrier for 5G connectivity, catering to heavy data users and those curious to explore the next generation of mobile internet. This move reinforces Jio’s commitment to making 5G more accessible to the masses.

This initiative follows Jio’s tariff adjustments in mid-2024, which shifted unlimited 5G access to plans with a minimum of 2GB daily data.

Plans such as the Rs 349 pack were among the lowest options for unlimited 5G post-hike. To address varying user needs, Jio also introduced booster packs priced at Rs 51, Rs 101, and Rs 151, offering additional 4G data and unlimited 5G access.
