At the 47th Annual General Meeting of Reliance Industries earlier this week, Chairman Mukesh Ambani introduced a new artificial intelligence service platform named Jio Brain, aimed at accelerating AI integration within the company’s various business verticals. The platform is set to revolutionise AI capabilities across Jio’s operations and other Reliance businesses.

Announcing the launch, Ambani described Jio Brain as a comprehensive suite of AI tools that will cover every aspect of the AI lifecycle. Jio Brain aims to democratise AI by offering advanced models and services at the most affordable rates, making AI accessible to everyone in India, Ambani stated.

He emphasised that the goal is to achieve the world's lowest AI inferencing cost by leveraging Reliance's vast infrastructure, networking capabilities, and data expertise in partnership with global tech leaders.

Ambani also underscored the importance of hosting AI services within India to ensure data security and privacy. He highlighted that Jio Brain will not only transform Reliance’s businesses but also provide a scalable AI solution for other enterprises in the future.
