Google Pixel Rolling Out Camera 9.4 Version: Choose Between Pro & Manual, HDR+ Expected To Arrive
This might bring the HDR+ Improved Frame Selection to the Pixel 6+, including Fold and Tablet.
The June Feature Drop for Google Pixel is being deployed through a series of app updates. The new Pixel Camera 9.4 introduces a number of tweaks including manual lens selection to the Google Pixel 6/7 Pro and Fold. Akin to the Google Pixel 8 Pro, Google's other two premium phones and the foldable now allow users to select one of the three rear lenses for a shot. In order to access this feature, one needs to click on the settings icon in the bottom-left corner. You will see a 'Pro' tab appear next to 'General', it will offer Lens Selection options, and you can choose whether you want it on Auto or Manual.
You should take the information with a pinch of salt though because despite the tab's name, these are not the 'Pro' controls which were introduced in the Pixel 8 Pro which would let you adjust Focus, Shutter Speed, and ISO.

What Are The Changes
The zoom pill located above the shutter button gets replaced by Ultra Wide, Wide, and Telephoto buttons. You will have to pinch in/out to zoom when this manual mode is enabled.
Another change that we would witness in Pixel Camera is the shift of the RAW / JPEG picker to the Pro tab. Earlier it used to be hidden in the Settings under the Advanced icon. Now, the switching between RAW and JPEG will be much easier especially when we want to professionally edit the shot later. If we compare it with the Pixel 8 Pro, then we won't get the resolution preference between 12MP and 50MP.

As of now, Pixel Camera's version 9.4.103.641377609.23 is still rolling out via the Play Store. It has now become a part of the other June Feature Drop-adjacent app and server-side updates in recent days.
