Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale Date Confirmed: Here's When The E-commerce Giant's Biggest Sale Will Begin

Last year, the Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale began on October 8 for Plus members, with the public gaining access on October 9. This time around, the sale will begin earlier.

Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale, one of India’s most anticipated online shopping events, is expected to return in the coming months, offering significant discounts on electronics, home appliances, and more. The sale, held annually in the latter half of the year, typically features massive deals on items like smartphones, laptops, tablets, televisions, air conditioners, and various home appliances.

When Will Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale Begin?

This year, the sale’s start date was first leaked through a Google Search listing and then confirmed on mobile banners (as shared by noted tipster Mukul Sharma) hinting that the event will begin on September 29 for Flipkart Plus members, with general access opening on September 30. The sale is expected to run for about a week, although the exact duration has yet to be confirmed by the company.

According to the leaked listing, the message reads: “Big Billion Days Sale Starting from 29th-September-2024 for Plus Members. Get the best deals and discounts at Flipkart.”

Last year, the sale began on October 8 for Plus members, with the public gaining access on October 9. The week-long event offered steep discounts of up to 80 per cent on a wide range of products, including mobile phones, audio equipment, fashion, beauty products, and home improvement items.

In addition to discounted prices, shoppers can benefit from various offers from leading banks, and those looking to travel can avail themselves of bundled deals on flights and hotels. Flipkart’s Big Billion Days Sale usually coincides with the festive season, occurring just before Diwali and often overlapping with Amazon’s Great Indian Festival Sale.

Meanwhile, Flipkart’s Big Bachat Days sale is currently ongoing, having started on August 29 and is scheduled to run until September 5. Shoppers can enjoy special deals, cashback offers on transactions using the Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card, and flexible payment options, including credit of up to Rs 1 lakh and no-cost EMI.
