Do You Want Twitter Edit Button? Elon Musk Posts Poll After Acquiring Stakes, CEO Reacts

Elon Musk asked the Twitter users in a poll if they want the "edit" feature button for tweets or not. As people started to weigh in their opinion, Twitter's CEO also gave his initial thought.

New Delhi: Almost a day after Elon Musk bought a 9.2% passive stake in the microblogging site Twitter, the billionaire came out on the social media site with an idea to incorporate changes.

Elon Musk asked the Twitter audience or users in a poll if they want the "edit" feature button for tweets or not. As people started to weigh in their opinion with a simple yes or no nod, Twitter CEO came out and gave his initial thought over the poll.

Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal retweeted the tweet by Tesla and SpaceX CEO and wrote: “The consequences of this poll will be important. Please vote carefully.”

While after a long-standing demand from its users, Twitter already had announced on April 1, 2022, that it is working on the "Edit" tweet feature.

If the poll held by Elon Musk will help expedite the process at an exponential rate or not is to be seen.

Tesla's CEO is now the largest shareholder in the company, with more than four times the holding of Twitter founder Jack Dorsey.

With an investment of nearly $3bn, Elon Musk owns 73,486,938 shares in Twitter as of March 14, according to the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
