While it has brought ease of doing work for most people, the reliance on technology has also given a tool to the fraudsters to dupe people in different ways using the internet.

  • Before downloading anything on your laptop or mobile, make sure to double-check what is being downloaded.
  • Never fill out the information sought on any social media sites such as passwords, card details, etc.
  • After completion of the work, log out from net banking, etc.
  • Shop only from trustworthy websites.
  • Do not click on any link sent via message, email. Keep in mind that by clicking on it, your account details may get exposed.
