CMF Phone 2 Pro Launch Tonight: How Much Would Nothing's Affordable Phone Cost? Here's What We Know So Far

The much-anticipated CMF Phone 2 Pro by Nothing is launching today, April 28, at 6:30 PM in India. As the clock ticks down to the official reveal, here's everything you need to know about this next-generation smartphone from Nothing's sub-brand, CMF.

CMF Phone 2 Pro Expected Pricing: A Budget-Friendly Upgrade?

While Nothing has yet to announce the exact price of the CMF Phone 2 Pro, industry insiders expect it to fall around Rs 20,000. This price point would position the phone as a competitive offering in the budget smartphone market, catering to Indian consumers looking for premium features at an affordable cost. The CMF Phone 1 launched last year at Rs 15,999, so with significant upgrades, especially in the camera department, a price hike seems inevitable.

A New Look: Sleek, Customizable Design

Nothing has already teased the CMF Phone 2 Pro's design, and it's clear that the company is all about customisation. The device will be available in two colours: orange and white, each featuring a dual-tone design. Continuing the trend from the previous model, the CMF Phone 2 Pro boasts an open-screw design, allowing users to easily swap out the back cover for a fresh new look.

Moreover, the phone will come with an accessory point cover, enabling users to attach add-ons like a fold-out stand, cardholder, or lanyard. As for its build, Nothing promises that the phone will be "ultra slim" and "ultra light," offering a sleek and comfortable feel in hand.

Display & Performance: Bright and Powerful

One of the standout features of the CMF Phone 2 Pro is its display. CMF has claimed that the phone will feature the "segment's largest and brightest" screen, though detailed specifications are still under wraps.

Under the hood, the CMF Phone 2 Pro will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset, which will be paired with a next-gen NPU capable of handling an impressive "4.8 trillion operations per second." This promises to deliver a smooth and efficient performance for everyday tasks and gaming.

Camera Setup: Triple Lens for Stunning Shots

The CMF Phone 2 Pro will also offer a robust triple rear camera setup. Expect a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens with a 119-degree field-of-view. Whether you're capturing wide landscapes or detailed close-ups, this camera system is poised to deliver impressive results.

Box Contents: A Surprising First

In a move that’s sure to excite many, Nothing will include a transparent case and a 33W fast charger in the box with the CMF Phone 2 Pro. This marks the first time that Nothing will bundle a power adapter with one of its devices, offering added value to consumers from the start.

As the launch event approaches, all eyes will be on CMF to see if this budget-friendly yet feature-packed device can live up to the hype.
