Battlegrounds Mobile India Launch: PUBG Mobile's India version has finally made a complete official launch on Google Play Store as Battlegrounds Mobile India is now available for download to all Android users.

The official release comes weeks after Krafton launched the early access version for Beta users and it is now asking the early access users to switch to the official version.

The India-specific version of the popular battle royale was developed after the Indian government banned PUBG among several popular Chinese apps in September last year over its ties with Tencent.

According to Krafton, Battlegrounds Mobile India's early access users will not lose their progress on upgrading to the official version. Battlegrounds Mobile India will also bring support for account migration from PUBG Mobile Global accounts so that users are able to retain important data from the other version.

How to upgrade to official Battlegrounds Mobile India:

• Do not uninstall the early access version of Battlegrounds Mobile India if you have it installed on your phone.
• Go to the Google Play Store on your phone and search Battlegrounds Mobile India.
• The option to "Update" Battlegrounds Mobile India on your phone will be available, tap on it.
• After the update is installed, you will be able to play Battlegrounds Mobile India's official version.

Rewards for users signing in to Battlegrounds Mobile India:

Meanwhile, users joining Battlegrounds Mobile India are getting several rewards, some of which will be available after users complete in-game events. These include:

• Supply Crate Coupon - Sign-in reward.
• 2 Supply Crate Coupons - Celebrating 1 million downloads.
• Classic Crate Coupon - Celebrating 5 million downloads.

All these rewards will be available until August 19.

As for iOS, Krafton states that the easy access version of Battlegrounds Mobile India will be available soon for Apple devices but there is no exact date revealed. Meanwhile, with the official launch on Android, the iOS release is expected to take place soon.
