Apple Music Replay 2024 Arrives With Expanded Listening Insights: How To Access

Apple Music Replay 2024 introduces new listening insights, offering users a chance to see if they ranked among the top 500 or 1,000 listeners of a specific artist or genre.

Apple Music Replay 2024 launched on Wednesday, coinciding with Spotify’s anticipated release of its annual Wrapped feature. In recent years, platforms like Apple Music, Spotify, and Amazon Music have offered users comprehensive insights into their yearly listening trends. This year, Apple promises an even deeper dive into user habits, featuring metrics like top listeners, listening streaks, monthly playbacks, and the exact date a song, artist, or album was first played.

Apple Music Replay 2024 Brings You Listening Streaks & Replay By Month

Apple Music Replay 2024 introduces new listening insights, offering users a chance to see if they ranked among the top 500 or 1,000 listeners of a specific artist or genre. This builds upon the previous "top 100 listeners" feature. Replay also debuts Listening Streaks and Top Artist Streaks—the former tracks consecutive days of music streaming, while the latter highlights instances where a user’s top artist remains unchanged for more than two consecutive months. Additionally, users can see the date they first played their top artist, song, or album.

The Replay microsite allows users to view statistics from previous years and offers a month-by-month breakdown of their listening habits throughout 2024. Updates will continue through December, providing users with a full year's insights. Artists can also access Replay data via Apple Music for Artists, where they’ll find metrics like the total number of listeners, minutes of music streamed, top listener locations, and the most discovered song on Shazam, Apple’s music recognition tool.
