Airtel IPTV will also offer 29 major streaming platforms such as Netflix, Apple TV+, Amazon Prime Video, SonyLIV, and Zee5.

Airtel has entered the IPTV market with a major rollout, bringing high-speed internet and an extensive entertainment library to homes across India. The telecom giant has introduced its IPTV services in over 2,000 cities, offering a seamless blend of traditional television and streaming platforms. However, some regions will have to wait a little longer to access this new service.

Airtel’s Big Move into IPTV

Airtel's IPTV aims to redefine home entertainment with a combination of live TV and premium streaming services.

The service includes access to 600 live TV channels and 29 major streaming platforms such as Netflix, Apple TV+, Amazon Prime Video, SonyLIV, and Zee5. Users will also benefit from Airtel’s high-speed Wi-Fi, ensuring a smooth viewing experience.

Cities Left Waiting for Airtel IPTV

While Airtel’s IPTV service has reached a vast majority of cities, some locations are currently excluded from the rollout. These regions will receive access in the coming months.

As of now, users in Delhi, Rajasthan, and the Northeastern states will have to wait before they can subscribe to Airtel IPTV.

Airtel has introduced multiple pricing tiers to cater to different user needs:

  • Rs 699 – 40 Mbps internet + 26 streaming apps

As more cities get added to the network, Airtel’s IPTV could become a game-changer in the Indian entertainment space.
