Rajasthan Medical Student Dies In Hisar After Severe Burn Injuries, Mother Suspects Stabbing
A Rajasthan girl named Bhawana Yadav, who was preparing for postgraduate medical studies in Delhi, suffered severe burn injuries in Hisar and died during treatment in Jaipur.

A Rajasthan girl preparing for postgraduate medical studies in Delhi suffered severe burn injuries while she was in Hisar. As soon as her mother was informed, she took the girl named Bhawana Yadav to Jaipur for treatment. But the girl died during the treatment on Thursday.
According to NDTV, the circumstances surrounding her death are fuzzy. Bhawana’s mother Gayatri has filed a zero FIR in Jaipur. The same has been forwarded to Hisar Civil Lines Police Station for further investigation.
Yadav completed her medical studies in 2023 from the Philippines. She was preparing for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination, which is a medical licensing exam in India. It is compulsory for Indian citizens and OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) cardholders who obtained their MBBS degree abroad.
According to the complaint, the girl was attending the online classes and travelling to Delhi weekly for tests. On April 21, she was in Delhi for an exam and was living with her sister, preparing for the Civil Services Exam.
Yadav stayed with her sister on April 21 and 22 and called her mother on April 23 to say that she would return on the morning of the next day. However, Bhawana never returned.
According to NDTV report, a man named Umesh Yadav on April 2 called Bhawana’s mother to inform her that she had suffered burn injuries and was admitted to a hospital in Haryana’s Hisar. The mother soon reached the hospital, and the 25-year-old was later shifted to SMS Hospital in Jaipur, where she died during treatment on the night of April 24.
According to the report, her mother has claimed that Bhawana had sharp weapon injury marks on her abdomen. She also alleged that her daughter was stabbed and then set on fire, adding that her laptop, mobile phone and other valuables are missing.
