BJP Responds To Kolkata Police Move On Spoof Video, Says Acting ‘Like Mamata Banerjee’s Doormat’
BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya reacted to the Kolkata Police's demand saying that the police are prioritising Mamata Banerjee's interests over more urgent matters.
“Relax@KolkataPolice- You have other more pressing issues on hand, rather than act like Mamata Banerjee’s doormat. For instance, TMC workers are assaulting women across Kolkata for having political views different from the ruling party or worse they have hung obscene posters deriding the Prime Minister across greater Kolkata area… What have you done about them?”

“@ECISVEEP should take note of voter intimidation by Kolkata Police. This is the same Kolkata Police, which hounded a Jadavpur University professor, for almost 10 years, at the behest of the Bengal CM, just because he shared a cartoon of Mamata Banerjee on WhatsApp. They are at it, again,” he said.
