Waterlogging in Maharashtra's Thane has caused local train services to come to a halt between the Badlapur and Ambernath section on Wednesday, reported news agency PTI.

Mumbai and Thane received heavy rainfall on Wednesday morning which led to flooding on the railway tracks. Following this, Central Railway's Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) Dr Shivraj Manaspure said, "Badlapur-Ambernath section (UP + DOWN) closed from 11.05 hrs for traffic due to water-logging," as reported by news agency PTI.
