Caught On Camera: Swiggy Delivery Executive Steals Shoes Outside Residential Flat
A CCTV footage of a Swiggy delivery agent running away after stealing shoes kept outside an apartment has attracted many audience.
Recently, a post surfaced on X with CCTV footage captured outside a residential flat, depicting a Swiggy Instamart delivery person allegedly stealing shoes. The video, which has since gone viral, portrays the delivery agent arriving at the door with a grocery package. The incident took place outside a flat on April 9 reportedly in Haryana's Gurugram.
After ringing the bell and awaiting the customer's response, the agent appears to survey his surroundings. Notably, he gazes downward at three pairs of footwear placed outside the residence. In less than a minute, someone opens the door and accepts the package from him.
Following the delivery, the agent uses his phone for a few seconds and walks away from the door. However, he is observed glancing back towards the shoes before removing a cloth wrapped around his head to wipe his face.
Descending a few steps, he then retraces his steps, carefully ascending back to the flat, he picks up one of the pairs of shoes. He covers it with the cloth from earlier and ran away. The X user wrote on his post, "Swiggy's drop and PICK up service. A delivery boy just took my friend's shoes (@Nike) and they won't even share his contact."

Since its upload on April 11, 2024, the post has garnered 716,000 views. Responding to the viral video, Swiggy's official support handle, Swiggy Cares, addressed the matter, stating, "Hey Rohit, we expect better from our delivery partners. Do meet us on DM, so we can assist you better. - Nish."

It is your friend’s fault. Corridors and common area isn’t a property of flat owner plus these areas should be always clutter free from Security and any medical urgencies point of view. If ppl can’t resist to make a mess in corridors then they should lock the stuff .
