'Look Who's Back To School?' AAP Shares Video Of Bhagwant Mann, Kejriwal Attending Class In Delhi

The Punjab CM said the state government would replicate Delhi's education model where students from all economic backgrounds would get quality education.

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann attended a "Mindfulness Class" at a Delhi school on Monday.

Bhagwant Mann is on a two-day visit to Delhi to understand the "Delhi model" in healthcare and education sectors and replicate it in Punjab. On Monday, Mann, along with his senior officers, toured health institutes and schools in the national capital.

A video posted by AAP on its Twitter handle showed Kejriwal and Mann attending a class sitting in the back bench. Also present were Delhi deputy CM Manish Sisodia and AAP Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha. In the video, Mann, a former stand-up comedian, can be seen drawing laughter for his witty responses.

The Punjab CM said the state government would replicate Delhi's education model where students from all economic backgrounds would get quality education, PTI reported.

"The revolution in education's system is discussed across the country. We will replicate the same model in Punjab where students from either rich or poor background will get quality education together. The country will progress this way by learning from each other," Mann said.

Kejriwal said, "Let us work together to strengthen the education system of the country".

The Punjab CM was accompanied by a battery of senior government officials from both school education, and health and family welfare departments, to take inputs on the sectors.

Before coming to power in Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had committed to improving the state of Punjab's schools and hospitals.

Mann visited the Dr Ambedkar Institute of Excellence in Kalkaji, as well as Mohalla clinics in Greater Kailash, Chirag Enclave, and Kautilya Government Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya.

Earlier this month, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin paid a visit to Delhi government's schools and mohalla clinics in the national capital.
