The eight time Wimbledon champion Federer secured a berth in his record extending 12th finals at the All England Tennis and Croquet Club by defeating his arch rival Rafael Nadal in a four-set semi-final encounter. Meanwhile, Novak Djokovic was also stretched to four sets in his semi-final win over Spain's R. Bautista Agut.
