Vinesh Phogat Arrival: Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat landed in Delhi on Saturday, August 17. After a historic run at Paris Olympics 2024 which was marred with one of the biggest controversies in the Indian sporting history, the 29-year old has finally arrived to her native land, after a series of legal battles for her silver medal, in which, she unfortunately failed.

Upon landing, she broke down in tears seeing the immense love and suport she received from her countrymen and all she had to say was "thank you", as she was visibly overwhelmed, and added that "she is very fortunate to receive that amount of love and support".

Sakshi Malik, Yogeshwar Dutt Speak In Support Of Vinesh Phogat

Fellow wrestlers and Olympic medalists, Sakshi Malik and Yogeshwar Dutt were there alongside Vinesh Phogat, as the duo welcomed the wrestler and sticked around her throughout the welcome ceremony. They added that Vinesh deserves immense recognition and respect, and that, the whole country loves her.

Currently, Vinesh Phogat is heading towards her hometown in Haryana.
