Virat Kohli Fan Breaches Security During RR-RCB Game To Meet Him, Video Goes Viral- WATCH

During the IPL 2024 RR vs RCB match number 19, a fan wearing an RCB jersey breached the security and managed to cross the boundary ropes and fences in order to meet Virat Kohli.

Virat Kohli is widely regarded as one of the greatest batters of the current generation. Even though the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) star is far from done, some experts and fans even hail him as one of the greatest of all time. No wonder he has fans all around the globe especially in India. However, sometimes fans go on to do crazy things for the cricket stars they idolise and precisely that was on display during the Rajasthan Royals (RR) with RCB in Jaipur on Saturday (April 6).

During the IPL 2024 RR vs RCB match number 19, a fan wearing an RCB jersey breached the security and managed to cross the boundary ropes and fences in order to meet Virat Kohli who has been in great form this tournament. The fan broke the security protocol during RR's run-chase against RCB to meet Kohli, who happens to be the tournament's leading run-scorer so far. The fan was consequently taken away by the security officials as Kohli looked on.

IPL 2024: Not The First Instance Of Fan Breaching Security

Notably, this is not the first instance of a fan breaching security to meet the players this IPL. Earlier a similar incident had happened during RCB's first IPL 2024 home game against Punjab Kings (PBKS). This wasn't just one other incident as during the Mumbai Indians (MI) vs Rajasthan Royals (RR) match at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai too a fan had managed to breach the security to try and meet Rohit Sharma.

The former MI captain was initially surprised before the the invaded went and hugged Ishan Kishan before he was taken off the field.  As far as on the field action is concerned, MI are yet to open their IPL 2024 account on the table.
