KKR Fangirl Viral Placard For Gambhir: Gautam Gambhir and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) seem to be a match made in heaven. While the ex-India cricketer led KKR to two IPL titles in 2012 and 2014 as captain back in the day, his appointment as the mentor ahead of IPL 2024 season has led to an extraordinary resurgence of the team this year with them becoming the first team to qualify for the Playoffs in this edition of the competition.

Gambhir, however, is known for his serious demeanour. He puts his heart on his sleeve when fighting for a cause and one can rarely seem him enjoy a leart moment when the cricketing action is on. In this context, a picture has gone viral in which a fan girl is holding a placard which reads: "I will not propose my crush, until Gambhir smiles."

The picture seems to have made its way to Gambhir as well and the KKR mentor has responded by sharing a picture of himself smiling in KKR colours. Gambhir's reponse has instantly gone viral on the internet.

KKR On Top Of Table In IPL 2024

As far as KKR are concerned, they are on top of the table in IPL 2024. They have registered 9 wins in 13 matches and find themselves at the summit of the IPL 2024 table with 19 points with one point coming from a washed out game against Gujarat Titans (GT). KKR and Rajasthan Royals (RR) are the only two teams to have an assured berth for themselves in the Playoffs while two spots remain vacant with five teams still in contention.
