Umar Akmal Misspells KKR, Gets Trolled: Umar Akmal, the Pakistani cricket star, may have had noble intentions when he took to social media to share a congratulatory post for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 win. However, he was on the receiving end of social media trolling for a spelling mistake.
While referring to the Shreyas Iyer-led KKR who beat Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the IPL 2024 final at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on Sunday (May 26), Akmal wrote KKL. "Congratulations to #kkl on winning #ipl third trophy @KKRiders @IPL‘s @GautamGambhir @ShreyasIyer15," he posted on X.
