SRH vs RR HIGHLIGHTS: Rajasthan Beat Hyderabad By 72 Runs

Background

Hello and welcome to ABP's live coverage of the IPL 2023. Sunrisers Hyderabad will be taking on Rajasthan Royals in the first encounter of a doubleheader Sunday at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. After having a below-average season last year, the Hyderabad-based franchise dropped a lot of players as they finished at 8th place in the points table. They released a few big names including Kane Williamson.

During the mini-auction last year, SRH roped in 13 players and they named Aiden Markram as the captain. Markram had a great stint with the other franchise, Sunrisers Eastern Cape, in SA20. Under the new skipper, the Men in Orange will look to win their first match on Sunday.

Rajasthan Royals on the other side finished second in the last season of IPL. They had an outstanding run last season both with the bat and ball. Jos butler grabbed the orange cap while Yuzvendra Chahal went on to clinch the purple cap. Sanju Samson’s led team will be looking to replicate their last year’s performance by starting its campaign with a win.

SRH vs RR LIVE SCORE

DOUBLE STRIKE FROM BOULT!!! What an over from the left-arm seamer. He first bowled Abhishek Sharma before getting Rahul Tripathi caught at slip. Excellent display of swing bowling. Double wicket maiden to start the innings and RR right on top here in Hyderabad. Harry Brook and Mayank Agarwal would be under immense pressure.
