DC's Director of Cricket spent some time batting at the nets ahead of Delhi's home fixture against RCB.

Before DC's home match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Ganguly was spotted taking a few hits at the nets and boy did it turn his fans nostalgic.

Sourav Ganguly is one of the greatest cricketers from India ever to have played the game. The left-handed batter was a sight on behold when in his prime and especially in limited-overs cricket was an and out and out match-winner. Even in Test match cricket, there have been several crucial coming from the blade of the Prince of Calcutta.

Such sublime was his stroke play on the off side that he earned the nickname the "King of Off side". Other than his batting ability, he is best remembered as one of India's greatest cricket captains, someone who instilled a fighting sprit in the team and made them bold and fearless.

Years after hanging up his boots as a player, Ganguly currently associated the Director of Cricket at the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Delhi Capitals. Before DC's home match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Ganguly was spotted taking a few hits at the nets and boy did it turn his fans nostalgic.

Some of the shots especially his trademark dance down the track for a lofted stroke down the ground was still worth a watch.
