In a one-sided clash, Gujarat Titans outplayed Rajasthan Royals by nine wickets in Match 48 of IPL 2023 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Friday. It was a full-length delivery by Chahal and Saha tapped it towards the long-off region for a single and helped his team seal a victory against Rajasthan Royals. Skipper Hardik Pandya played a terrific knock of 39 off 15 deliveries alongside Wriddhiman Saha who also played a useful hand of 41 runs off 34 balls, helping their team chase down a paltry total of 119/1 in 13.5 overs.
For the Royals, Yuzvendra Chahal was the only one who took a wicket. Earlier, Rajasthan Royals won the toss and batted first. Their star batters Buttler and Jaiswal were sent to the pavilion early in the innings as Buttler departed after scoring just 8 runs while Jaiswal, who was the star with the bat against Mumbai Indians. could only score 14 runs. It was skipper Sanju Samson who played a few attractive shots but then he was dismissed after adding 30 runs off 20 balls and as a result, Rajasthan batters were restricted to just 118 runs.
