RR Dedicate Special IPL Jersey To Women, Video Goes Viral- WATCH
Rajasthan Royals are all set to get their IPL 2024 campaign underway on March 24 with a clash against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on March 24 (Sunday).
Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Rajasthan Royals have unveiled their official match day jersey for the 2024 season of the cash-rich league. The inaugural champions dedicated it to the women of Rajasthan and India. The jersey apparently marks a new initiative and is marked by hashtag #PinkPromise. This special initiative initiative will reportedly take place on April 6, which celebrates womanhood.
The development was confirmed by Rajasthan Royals (RR) on their social media handle. "Special jersey. Special cause. April 06 🔥 To the women of Rajasthan and India, this #PinkPromise is for you. 💗," the video was captioned.

Rajasthan Royals Set To Begin IPL 2024 Campaign On March 24
Rajasthan Royals are all set to get their IPL 2024 campaign underway on March 24 with a clash against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on March 24 (Sunday). This will be a 03:30 pm (IST) start at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in RR's home Jaipur. Even though RR won the first-ever IPL back in 2008, they haven't been able to replicate that performance.
Last season, the Sanju Samson-led side failed to make it to the Playoffs after finishing fifth with 14 points from 14 matches. In IPL 2022, RR had reached the final against Gujarat Titans (GT). However, they fell short after losing the titular contest by 7 wickets. This year once again RR would start with an eye on the trophy and would want to go all the way, given the way they have performed in recent years.
RR Squad IPL 2024:
Sanju Samson (captain), Jos Buttler, Shimron Hetmyer, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Dhruv Jurel, Riyan Parag, Donovan Ferreira, Kunal Rathore, Ravichandran Ashwin, Kuldeep Sen, Navdeep Saini, Prasidh Krishna, Sandeep Sharma, Trent Boult, Yuzvendra Chahal, Adam Zampa, Avesh Khan, Rovman Powell, Shubham Dubey, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Abid Mushtaq, Nandre Burger.
