Current Form Of Rohit Sharma And Rishabh Pant In Indian Premier League 2024
Rohit Sharma started off the IPL 2024 on a positive note, as the former skipper scored a brilliant 43 off 29 balls against Gujarat Titans in MI's opening match of IPL 2024, but gained no support from the rest of the batting order, except Dewald Brevis, as the Gujarat Titans side scripted one of the most iconic comeback victories in the history of the league.
In the second match, the Indian national team captain saw a historical debacle of MI's bowling, as Sunrisers Hyderabad registered the highest team total in the history of the league, by scoring 277 runs at the end of their 20 overs. The chase had only 1 percent chance but that 1 percent was entirely becaue of the presence of thre 'Hitman' Rohit Sharma but the Indian opener departed for 26 off 12 balls.
In the latest outing, Rohit Sharma became prey to his old foe Trent Boult, as the Kiwi pacer dismissed the former for a golden duck.
Rishabh Pant, on the other hand, didn't make an impressive start to his IPL 2024, as he returned to cricket after almost 1.5 years, and registered the figures of 18 and 28 in his first and second match, but has shown glimpses of his former self, as the left-handed batsman has returned to form by registering consecutive half centuries in his previous two outings.
