Rajasthan Royals' talented youngster Riyan Parag is on the verge of getting dropped for RR's playing XI anytime soon, most likely in their next IPL 2023 fixture.

Riyan Parag trolled: The 48th match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 was played between last year's two finalists Gujarat Titans (GT) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Friday (May 5) at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium in Jaipur. Hosts Rajasthan Royals got off to a good start after winning the toss but after adding 47/1 in the first 5 overs, they started losing wickets at regular intervals, posting only 118 runs in the first innings. Seven RR batters could score in single digits with skipper Sanju Samson scoring the maximum 30 runs.

Before the 2023 season of IPL started, Riyan Parag had posted a tweet, claiming that his inner conscience says he will hit four sixes in a single over in this year's IPL. Sadly, the talented youngster has been struggling ever since IPL 2023 began. Parag is on the verge of getting dropped for RR's playing XI anytime soon, most likely in their next IPL 2023 fixture. He has so far scored mere 58 runs in 6 IPL games at a strike rate of 107.40.
