IPL Eliminator: CSK Star Mocks RCB For Their IPL 2024 Exit

CSK star Tushar Deshpande posted a photo of Bengaluru's Cantonment Railway Station with the word 'Cantonment' abbreviated to 'Cant', a play on words mocking RCB.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) suffered a heartbreaking defeat in RR vs RCB Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 Eliminator match on Wednesday (May 22).

Crawling back from the bottom, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) showed hope and promise by winning six consecutive matches. However, in Wednesday's RR vs RCB IPL 2024 Eliminator, Bengaluru suffered a 4-wicket defeat, leading to their elimination from the tournament.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) made it to the Eliminator after securing a crucial 27-run win over defending champions Chennai Super Kings on May 18, leading to a flood of trolling from the RCB fanbase.

Following RCB's elimination from IPL 2024, CSK fanbase took the opportunity to taunt their fans, rub it in their face. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) pacer Tushar Deshpande joined in on the fun, posting a meme on Instagram that mocked RCB for time and again failing to win an IPL trophy for the last 17 years. 

The CSK star posted a photo of Bengaluru's Cantonment Railway Station with the word 'Cantonment' abbreviated to 'Cant', a play on words mocking RCB.

However, the post was soon later deleted by Deshpande.

In the IPL 2024 eliminator, Rajasthan Royals defeated Royal Challengers Bengaluru by four wickets, ending their hopes of winning the IPL Trophy, once again. Asked to bat first, RCB managed to reach 172 runs while losing eight wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Rajasthan successfully chased down the target, reaching 173 runs with the loss of six wickets in just 19 overs.

Rajasthan Royals will now go up against Sunrisers Hyderabad IPL 2024 Qualifier 2 on Friday (May 24). The winner of RR vs SRH IPL 2024 Qualifier 2 will take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in IPL 2024 Final on Sunday (May 26) at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
